This was my first time even pulling off the engine cover myself. My personal experience is only with the VCM tuner 2. I have a 2013 and 2012 touring that I installed mine on. They have performed flawlessly. Well worth the extra cost. Fuel economy has suffered a little, I get 1-2 mpg less, but it's a good trade off. I was astounded to learn replacing the active engine mounts can cost $1500. I'm sure replacing broken piston rings would not be cheap. I'm glad I found VCMTuner and can recommend buying the VCM Tuner II. Mounted the VCM Tuner II to the engine side of the battery. Ran the 12volt up from the side where the positive terminal is. There was enough room It'll go over the battery post. Plugged everything back up. Lost a screw and fastener for the intake cover (but fortunately found them).

So the VTEC lobes are blank lobes to shut the cylinders off rather than high lift/duration lobes as you'd typically expect.
