It would be awesome if you could click a weapon that can be used both in Melee and Ranged and then chose whatever or the guard will automatically swap to ranged when the target is too far as when you have both a melee and a ranged weapon equipped. You can't right-click an item in the hotbar, either, e.g. for throwing a bomb or potion. Broken Tool bar sliders what? I found a solution I think - select the bugged character, then if you quick save during the combat (f5) and then load that save it should load back in with the battle hub there.
